In light of the global pandemic of COVID-19, Family Pet Center would like to take a moment and discuss our safety. We take our commitment to our clients and patients very seriously.
Though we’re not aware of any possible cases of COVID-19 coming through our hospital, we have heightened our general hygiene and disinfecting protocols.
We are following the current CDC’s recommendation for workplace strategies to minimize possible exposure. We also ask that you call our office to reschedule your pet’s appointment if you’re exhibiting any flu like symptoms, have traveled abroad in the past 2 weeks, or have been in contact with any known COVID-19 positive patients.
We are remaining open during our normal business hours, however we are continuing to monitor recommendations made by the state and local officials and will act accordingly.
To facilitate Social Distancing, recommended by the CDC, you may wait for appointments in your car. Upon arrival, please give us a call on our main line, 214-436-4551. When an exam room is available one of our team members will assist you. We are working on minimizing wait times and endeavoring to ensure your safety and pets comfort.
